The laying method of drag chain cables
2025-09-28 09:40:02
Firstly, the laying of the drag chain cable must not be bent. Since it is used to enclose the cable, if it is bent or twisted severely, it will cause damage to the internal and external cables, resulting in the equipment failing to meet the user's requirements. Before laying, the cable should be laid flat, and then the cable should be laid in a standardized manner according to the actual usage conditions.
2. At this point, it is necessary to pay attention to the small bending radius of the cable. Long-term bending will cause the cable to deform.
3. In the application of drag chain cables, they must be loosely arranged in the drag chain. All the cables should not be squeezed together to prevent entanglement, which would also affect the use of the cables
4. Both points of the cable must be fixed, or at least the moving end of the drag chain should be fixed. Generally, the distance between the moving point of the cable and the end of the drag chain should be 20 to 30 times the diameter of the cable.
5. If the drag chain cable is fixedly installed, there is no need to forcibly move it at will. Otherwise, it will cause positional errors of the cable and affect the actual application effect.
6. Please ensure that the cables move completely within the bending radius so that they can move relatively to each other or to the guiding device. After a period of operation, a suitable position for inspecting the cables. This inspection must be carried out after the push-pull movement.
In addition to the points mentioned above, customers must also pay attention to the application sites of the drag chain cables and try to minimize their use in areas with high humidity and high temperatures. Otherwise, it will cause rapid oxidation of the cables and reduce their service life.

2025-09-28What are the differences between high-flexibility PVC drag chain cables, PUR drag chain cables and TPE drag chain cables?
At present, the outer sheath materials of high-flexibility cables on the market are generally made of PVC, PUR, TPE and other materials. Therefore, we respectively call these types of flexible cables: PVC flexible cables, PUR flexible cables and TPE flexible cables. For the above three types of flexible cables,...

2025-09-28Temperature-sensing cables for cable trays
Characteristics of temperature-sensing cables for cable trays: 1) The structure of temperature-sensing cables is stable, with strong anti-interference and tensile strength. 2) The detector has differential fixed-temperature detection performance. Compared with traditional fixed-temperature detectors, its fire detection effect is more sensitive. 3) Within the safe temperature range, the detector...

2025-09-28What is a drag chain cable
The origin of the drag chain: The drag chain, also known as the electric Cable carrier, is a device that bundles cables or air pressure pipes and oil pressure pipes to facilitate their rotation and movement. In 1953, Gilbert in Germany; Professor Waninger created the world's first steel drag chain. In 1954...
